IN LOVING-KINDNESS.
The mastery of loving kindness is very important
niyama. It has all other values incorporated in it like that of ahmisa, non stealing etc. loving kindness is very difficult
because we identify with this body , present time and roles which we play.
How To Develop This.
Feel happy when others succeed.
Do not talk ill of them .wish them good things.
if some one has samsaric suffering - feel sympathy.
Thank god u do not have like them and also pray for them.
pray for your friends who have difficulties.
Listen to others when they are in pain . some
profession like counselors, astrologer and physicians can do these easily.
when you hear negative news of mass death or suffering
pray for people.
then slowly develop a routine for praying for
others.
when treat some one harshly or use harsh words
apologize and pray to god to give up these qualities. Even with children, husband etc do this.
Do not defend your negative action.
Listen to others when even if u have success in
that area. For example one can have successful profession some one known to u can have difficulty.
Become the other. This will be easy when u do
devata yoga. Telepathy or mind reading when you become one with other. This also can be done with plants and non living being.
When u perfect this, you will have dravya guna vigyan - the knowledge of how to use things.
Slowly take suffering which are small in nature
of body, mind and emotions.
slowly u can go in for bigger one.
then one can go towards in halation of breath.
Your mind will be dull, sleepy, heavy and can be negative initially. I once did
for a psychiatric patient. I felt very sleepy for the whole day. one can even take the suffering of cancer patient etc. but
u need a lot of tapo balam.
You can also absorb energy from the aura. This
can be done with plants, sky and opposite sex with any one.
Also when u have nothing to do chant these verses-
May All Being Be Happy
May All Being Be Peaceful.
May All Being Follow Dharma.
May All Being Understand Law Of Karma.
You can do this while you are traveling. om shanthi
shanthi shanthi can be very good mantra. the good indication is that you will find less fault with others and have peaceful
tolerant of others people fault.
